Rémi Bazillier is Professor of Economics at Pantheon-Sorbonne University (Paris 1) and researcher at CES (UMR CNRS 8174 and IRD).

He is specialized in Development Economics and Labour Economics. His researches focus on Labour and Inequalities in developing countries, and (artisanal) mining and development.

He is Vice-Dean of the Sorbonne School of Economics in charge of International Relations, head of the research group “Economics of Sustainable Development” at CES and Director of the master program in Development Economics and PSME.
